Hello. My name is Gracious Brindle and I’m a “blogger.”  I started publishing my thoughts in 2002 via xanga.  (if you are interested, feel free to snoop around my old site at xanga.com/gracious) As of August 2008 I have re-evaluated my process, and have gone “public.”

As a mother of two littles, Hosanna and Zuri, it is difficult to not be a “mommy” blogger.  I love updating anyone who is will to lend an ear, or an eye to read, every small update about each of my girls.  From the joy’s of breastfeeding in public, to the ever evolving discipline sorrows and “techniques.”

Beyond mommy hood, I and my husband, run and operate a coffee shop/music venue.  He-Brews Coffee and Music began as a small time coffee shop in a small time town.  In the spring of 2007 we branched out as  a music venue.  This venture took off quickly and we now host shows on a usually more then a weekly basis.  I cover the organizational booking end of the gig.  (I never knew I knew how to organize until now, just ask my mom and dad!!) I do a little easy graphic design on the side,  a whole lot of cooking for massive ammounts of people most nights of the week, and can make the meanest latte you’ll ever drink.   On  off days ( I know, what are those?!?)  our  tribe of Brindles  ride our bikes to some of the most beautiful places this country has to offer.  Oh, did I fail to mention I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan? If you are unfamiliar with this territory, stick around, you will also soon fall in love with the place I call home.

I am do everything kind of girl, with a family motto of “always an adventure.”  And with that, welcome to my adventure….now if you’ll excuse me I have a diaper to change.
