I’m in South Carolina. In case you were wondering. I bet you were. Lets be honest, you were.
At first thought I thought I’d love the Carolina’s. Partially Mostly because rumor has it, the south is a warm place to be. Not that I don’t like cold. I’m just not a fan of snow in October–yes, we’ve had in Michigan.–I repeat, that’s snow–in OCTO-Stinkin’-BER.
But don’t worry, our drive down was dampened with rain. From Indiana to South Carolina. Very neat. In that, my-littles-screamed-through-kentucky-and-we-had-to-take-an-hour-detour-due-to-large-rock-slide PLUS rain in the mountains kind of way.
oh and we got turned around in Asheville, North Carolina. Super neat.
But we made it.
And today has been amazing.
Mostly because we slept in, woke up to a delicious multi-faceted breakfast, and then the rain cleared and the day has been amazing.
I’ll say it again, because I haven’t said it enough, amazing. AMAZING amazing.
And I really do like the south. I even ate grits. And they were yummy. The family we’re with is really-you guessed it–amazing! too. I can leave it at that.
On a side note, maybe you’re wondering about how the rest of the trip has gone? good. you want more? YouTube.com/TribeOfJudahMusic how’s that for my advertisement? no really. there’s video’s there. I editted them, so don’t expect anything fascinating. I’ll try to get a better update of my inner thoughts–one day. Until then, you’re stuck with whimsical videos.

Glad you are enjoying your grits. Sorry I didn’t get to see you when you were around these parts.
